Due to the intra related specialists we have on site, we are able to offer in-depth services for occupational related injuries/illnesses and private patients on a walk in basis. Dr. Allan Konce, director of medical services for 20 years, specializes in orthopedic surgery and occupational medicine. With our expert medical team and physical therapy team, Bay Medical Center provides evaluation, analysis, treatment and most important, continuity of care. Complex injuries are treated on site, thus eliminating hospital emergency room time and expense. The scope and expertise of our staff insures optimal patient care and incredible cost effectiveness for the employer. Medical Director Dr. Allan Konce Orthopedic surgeon and industrial/occupational specialist, has been director of Bay Medical Center for more than 20 years. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois and his orthopedic training at Northwestern University. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery. His extensive medical experience has been right here in California: orthopedic surgeon for the US Air Force with the rank of major, teaching physician associated with UCSF, independent consultant and consultant for workers compensation issues. Dr. Konce's varied medical experience, his medical expertise and his genuine care for patients and staff has meant a continuity of service that few clinics can boast. Our staff has an average of 12 years at Bay Medical Center. Such continuity of staff translates into excellent medical care, excellent communication between patient, staff and employer.
